Im really loving the idea of SigX.

My problem is as follows.

I did a clean install and everything is working fine so I decided to give remote SigX a go. I installed it to my host with everything as default apart from the username line which is set to:

$un = "nevaless";

But when I goto http://www.nuoptics.net/sigx.php nothing displays and when I goto http://www.nuoptics.net/sigxmonster2.png only the background image loads.

Is this a .htaccess problem? or does this mean GD isnt installed on the server?

Your help would be greatly appreciated and I apologise if this has already been addressed. I did a bit of a browse and couldnt find my specific problem.

Thanks again!

-neva

figure out what version of GD your server has by doing the phpinfo()

Im unable to check the version of GD at the moment (am at work) but I was able to find out that my host is running ImageMagick 5.5.2. Is this any help?

I appreciate your help.

Not a problem. I'll find out what version of GD is installed asap and if that needs updating ill request it be updated.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I had somewhat the same problem when I tried to upload my Remote SigX. Just the background image would show for me, nothing else, and I though it was a coordinate problem...but nope. What I did to resolve it was just delete the old .htaccess and type up a new one. Mine looks like this:
Code:
Redirect /xyclon/users/stik/sigxlpu.png http://www.dis-network.com/xyclon/users/stik/sigxlpu.php

After I type that up and uploaded it to the server Xyclon was so generous to offer, it worked dandy. See if that works for ya. If not, then I don't know.

Thanks for everything. Decided to just use another host and now its working fine. Im customising my own background now and setting up the lines and was wondering is there a way to add spaces inbetween the lines? This is what I have so far:

P.S Havent got around to changing the color of the text (or adding the lines) but decided not to ask how thats done as i think ive seen them covered elsewhere.
