Download MacOSigX v1.1

Bevel Aligning Buttons - pretty straight forward, but only for paying users

I've always believed in making my programs as user-customizable as possible,
and this one is no difference!
You can Add quotes to the random signature system by opening the preferences and adding new lines, or open the quote's file (resides in the same folder as MacOSigX) And edit them straightly in there (Every quote on a seperate line)
You can select how to play your iTunes song under the iTunes Tab (Obvious)
you type in one or several <tags> in the field, and those tags will be the ones displayed on your SigX (among other things the title, artist, album, genre and rating)
Under Prefix you can type in what you want to show up in front of nearly every option (instead of "Music: " you can type "Listening to: ").
And last but not least are the formating you want, you can choose to show short or long time (with or without the seconds) long, abbreviated or short date, show the disk space in Giga, Mega, kilo - bytes, or just bytes, and the uptime in a short or long format.

If there are any bugs, would like to make a comment, want to see something added to MacOSigX. Then please post up a message and I'll see what I can do to help ^^

version history:
v1.1
Weather support
Saving the information as textfile can now be done (REQ)
Secret debugging mode if you hold Alt while starting the app ¼.¼
A big bunch of other minor/major bugfixes and speed-up code...

nice good there, good work :-)
may I suggest making it open-source, so that just in case something happens, and you no longer work on macossigx, someone else could pick up on development?

i'll think about it, but i'll quite definitely make it open source when i think i've done all i could do to it

Edit:
Got an award from softpedia, for it being absolutely clean of spyware, adware, mallware, viruses or anything ^^

Sorry that it's been taking me such a while, but i've finally released a version update ^^;

I'm afraid that not much is new, except weather support, saving info as a text file and any bugs I found underway to this version ^^;;

Note: Weather takes a bit to update, so you might want to have to wait a while for it :oops:

Hello,

This is a very slippery app to get hold of. None of the links on this thread works and all of google's hits point to links from the dev's site which also don't work. Can someone please post a working link?

I've downloaded the one on this site (1.1) and when I try to mount the disk image, I get an error: "Not recognized."

I'm using SigOSX v. 0.3 that I found through Google, but I'm not satisfied with it at all ~ there are hardly any options, and when I lose my connection (which is often), I have to reset the Update Frequency manually. I'd like to use 1.1, or anything else that's available, instead.

(The Perl version is out of the question for me at the moment.)

have you tried downloading 1.0b from here:
http://mac.softpedia.com/progClean/MacO ... -7717.html

Is anyone else having issues with getting 1.1 to work?

Yup, tried that...and every other link I could find from Google. Nothing. I'll try a few other things, see if I can get it to work, but I'm not very hopeful.

Thanks.
