I really enjoy sigx, it's a nice service, thanks yuriy, but editing the perl file every time I need to change my sigx sig options is rather a bother.

I'm looking into coding a perl/python GTK frontend for it. Or maybe even just a "configurator" of sorts. If anyone would be interested, or could help, post here.

I'd do it in C, but I'm not very good at it, and I think it would be a bit overkill.

have you ever done anything in perl/gtk? that's what I was leaning towards...

And the support of yuriy is a large encouragement...

Well, no progress has been made so far. I've been reconsidering my options, and I'm not looking forward to a Perl/GTK+ client... the GTK interface for perl is fairly ugly.

Instead, I'm now looking at taking the currently existing Perl client and making a Glade frontend that would take the variables that you currently hardcode into the client, and feeding them from text boxes.

Nothing has been done yet, but I think this way will be much easier and efficient.
