alright, so Ive got TclSigX v0.1.3 programmed to use the degresses character, which works with SigX, the problem is that SigX seems to insert a captital A, with an accent on it in between the tempature number and the degre character. so... whats going on here?

i dont understand. the weather data type code generates a degree character, and a degree charcter alone. where the hell does this A come from? is it something to do with the encoding of the HTTP connection?

I have no idea where it comes from. The easyest thing to do is replace it in the code

the thing is that its not in my code. I'm using the Tcl ::http package, which works perfectly, but i cant edit that code. I think the fix should be on the SigX server rather than on the client, /me thinks thats where the problem mainly lies.

we noticed same thing when doing weather in our clients. I guess that character is not supported by the font.

which character exactly? the degree sign works, but the A is just mysteriously inserted for no obvious reason :-S
