Since the begining of the Pay service of SigX the Remote SigX's will soon stop working. I will not impose this untill a week or two from now for all you Remote SigX users to know what is going on.

So what does this mean for the people who use the Javascript or the Flash or any other thing that uses the Remote Technology? it will stop working if you do not order the service.

Please read the FAQ: http://forum.yuriy.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=4428#4428

Update May 6, 2004

Remote SigX has been officialy made for paying members only.

Thank you,
Yuriy

So remote SigX has finally gone down. I knew this day would come, I just knew. I don't have access to PayPal, ergo access to SigX is non-existant. I found the remote to be really useful for my radio station as it was the only reliable way of telling my listeners what was on and if I was on air. Now all that is gone, I could make something similar but it just wouldn't be as useful as this.

This paid thing is either going to be the rebirth or the death of SigX and I, sadly, don't know which. Now you'll either drive everyone away and end up having to raise the price driving more away and ending up going down into a never ending, vicious circle. Or you'll take off and soar and its what you deserve. You've done something rare here, you found a niche and you exploited it perfectly with a brilliant program that does what it should and does it well.

Yuriy I wish you all the luck for the future and hope you become rich enough off this too have a swimming pool full of notes, you'll have earned it and I'm sorry that I won't be able to help you get there.

Cheers, xamm

Since we have the option to pay does this mean you will add features we request? I'm still waiting to see the option for Lan interfaces to show current bandwidth stats   .

you could always make requests, pay or not and that should be in the requests section.. btw there is the network card interfaces (tells you uploaded, downloaded kb/mb) in the java version. and is planned for the VB version

Update: bandwith meter is in all version of SigX.

Is there an updated version to use? Doesn't seem it uses the new options set forth in the version you host. Plus it puts in [C] for center.

Example here

ya, the remote sigx was made for advanced users who know how to take advantage of raw php code.

i never updated the remote sigx php code to take advantage of the align codes [C]

so if you dont want to see them you can do a str_replace() on the align codes
