 Post subject: CPU shown incorrectly

The CPU is being reported incorrectly in sigx, it's showing up as a VIA Ezra 327mhz, when it's actually a 800mhz chip

i've seen another CPU being shown as '327mhz' on someone else's sig here, so you're probably allready aware of the problem, just making sure :)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I have fixed that bug, get the latest version it shuld work now.

If you get properties on "My Computer" on the desktop what does it say the CPU is there?


The program reads the registry key here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0

String: "ProcessorNameString"


If you go to your registry you can rename it to proper string, and it will not effect anything on your system OR because its not dynamic data you can type in manually what CPU you have.
